Tuesday, July 27, 2010 at 4:52PM i've heard the phrase practice makes perfect many times, the problem is that no matter how much i practice i know that i don't have it perfect. i know that i get better and more efficient at photoshop, illustrator, disc golf, sudoku, whatever it is but "perfect," really?
i for one am ok with that, i know that if i continue to try, continue to practice, continue to strive i'll get better. my clients, my skills and my paycheck will all improve the better i get at practice.
i have two designs that i worked on for the photowalk this past saturday. when my wife saw me working on them, she asked if they were for a client and when i said no, she wondered why i was spending my time doing them. i told her that the practice i get messing with these designs is good to keep me sharp at what i do.
here are the finished ideas. thoughts? (thumbnails below, larger size here)
